Revelation 9:6 King James Version (KJV) 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Quote
So let us imagine inconceivably durable hardware that holds a human consciousness. This computer is attached to a generator that runs off of nuclear waste as it decays. Thus it is deep in a vault in the earth, but attached to the rest of humanity via cables. For 100 years, the disembodied mind revels in all she can explore: the sum of human knowledge; every other uploaded consciousness; and this universe of diverting data just keeps expanding with every day.

Then a super-volcano explodes.

All embodied human life is extinguished. Most disembodied life is destroyed too. But not the computer deep in the bunker of nuclear waste. Its connections to other computers have been severed. But the consciousness endures with nothing stored locally save the original upload and McAfee anti-virus software that no one could figure out how to uninstall. As time wears on, this human endures the long twilight of the species on earth: 15.7 million years imprisoned with herself until the Iodine-I29 powering her computer is exhausted. As they say, “What a way to go!”

Sounds lot like the Krell:

YES, this is one of the scariest verses in the Bible.
Imagine being that cornered and that so far removed from God that He even doesn't grant you death to spare you from the immense sufferings.
Absolute inner emotional and physical hell while still alive on this planet.

It is not hard to imagine, rather it is hard to forget, as so many scriptural truths are.

Locked up in planet prison with no parole, damn... :o

"You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another."

- Matthew 10:22-23 (NIV)
Uh, yeah, I think I did that.  Thank for providing "another" place. ;) ;D

The plan would have to be perfect, no?

Isaiah 58:11
And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Isaiah 2
002:019 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the
        caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of
        his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

002:020 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his
        idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to
        worship, to the moles and to the bats;

002:021 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the
        ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his
        majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Revelation 6:15 King James Version (KJV) 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb

Darpa is often described as the “mad science” wing of the Defense Department. They’re the ones who have a history of working on cutting edge technology for the military like virtual fences, disaster relief robots, and the invention of the internet itself. They even tried to build Skynet in the 1980s.

But Darpa sent out a tweet today that’s making people a little nervous. The agency wants a large underground facility for “testing” of some sort. And they need it by Friday at 5pm ET.

Darpa explained in a follow-up tweet that the ideal location would be “several city blocks with complex layouts and multiple stories.”

“DARPA is interested in exploring this domain for researchers to analyze and enhance approaches to improve situational awareness and response times in emergency scenarios,” the Darpa spokesperson continued. “Locations submitted could help the research community identify relevant sites for further field experimentation to accelerate their development of such technologies.”

One of the most prolific sacred texts in UFO-logy!

https://www.gaia.com/article/do-hindu-texts-describing-the-flying-vimanas-also-detail-a-nuclear-war
Vimana Technology

The Vimana aircraft that are described in ancient Hindu Sanskrit texts are flying machines of varying degrees. The word Vimana translates to “having been measured out” or “traversing,” and were machines piloted by the gods. Much like the chariots of biblical texts, most notably the one seen in Ezekiel’s vision of the wheel, these flying craft came in all shapes and sizes and could travel at different speeds and distances. Some were land and seafaring vehicles, while others flew, sometimes all the way to the moon or further.
The most well-known documentation of the ancient Vimana flying machines comes from the Vaimānika Śāstra, an early 20th century translation of many accounts of Vimana technology found in ancient Vedic scriptures. It details drawings of a range of crafts, including the sources of fuel used to power them, although some can be confusing. The translations talk of certain elements and minerals we are familiar with, like mica, quicksilver and mercury, but also mentions strange liquids referred to as honey, which may have been an unknown substance with a similar viscosity or appearance to a bee’s nectar.
