TOSOM with Richard C Hoagland

Its sad to see old Hoagy seems to be winding down. It seems like no producer, a lack of guests, Trump getting elected and the death of Robin (in that order)were his downfall

When Art came back I wondered what they were thinking giving him a show but eventually I actually preferred listening to RCH. He was a rare natural conversationalist and if he had been given an opportunity 10 or 20yrs ago and some backing he might have even made it big. Guess we will never know

Last weeks excuse was a big storm blew his door in or somesuch lulz. Maybe he could find some young whippersnapper to cohost/produce/QB the show and let Hoagie do what he does best...BULLSHIT!

I have to say, last night's Hogay on Jack Parsons and the genesis of JPL was outstanding radio, truly!

This could be the best long form interview I've heard in a long while. Richard Spence is a master storyteller and Hoagy shaded in Cali-color like a pro.

That sounds pretty good. I heard this weeks show on KCAA with the guy who specializes in taking pics of top secret aircraft. After a few tech snafus it turned out to be a good show

If he can maintain some consistency putting up new shows I might even consider throwing Hoagy a few bugs($10/month for sporadic shows..no way)He is as good as/better than any host on C2C

I agree, when he's on he's as sharp as a new tack, not bad for a man of his advancing years btw.

I do have a gripe with his $10/month - that's twice the going rate for ephemeral/sporadic vanity radio podcasting.

Then again I have to consider the breadth his library before invoking the Kynthea clause... ::)
