"Clyde Lewis is a conspiracy theorist with a syndicated radio talk show called Ground Zero, a kind of poor man's combination of Alex Jones, Coast to Coast AM, and Glenn Beck. Lewis's specialty is a flashy mixture of "paranormal" pseudoscience, ancient history, Forteanism, Ufology and numerology designed to convince his gullible or mentally ill listeners that evil (government) forces are taking over the planet. One mental health expert said that Lewis is endangering the mentally ill when he tells callers suffering from paranoid schizophrenia that the voices they are hearing in their heads really might be caused by some secret government brainwashing project, instead of just being well-known symptoms of an illness."

Clydes probably about the closest thing to Art out there currently on radio
PLUSSES
-knowledgable concerning the esoteric
-has guests other than the 'usual suspects'
-good sense of humor/seems like a regular guy
-offers FREE* commercial free dl of show

MINUSES
-guests usually only on for 1h
- alot of repetition, seems like hes struggling to fill in time
-bad callers(but then again so does everybody)
-20min/h of commercial/news interruptions ruins guests flow

*now that he left Premiere Radio hes in financial trouble. show downloads start with him asking for donations

Overall worth a listen,much better than C2C

I listened to this yesterday. Great show!

Wow, and like anything Clyde does I bet it was in-depth and damned well-researched!

Ping Mikey - Clyde is asking for some of his claimed 40,000 strong membership to donate a buck or two to defray recent medical costs. Based on your expoerience meeting him in a rascal motor chair I guess we can say he may have lost some weight, but likely not enough to matter.

I do dig his intro and unique style though, be a shame to see ill health take him out. :-\

Right you are padre, and I heard the call for donations too.

He likely is the best thing going in terms of actual radio talent, save for the UK's Howard Hughes whom I also enjoy.

Clyde and his wife Janine have alot of health problems, cancer and such. He left Premiere in spring. I remember because there was a show back in May where Noory caller/show derailer/@$$hat Walt in PA kept dropping Noorys name and Clyde got pissed and took a few shots at George

Yeah I'm well aware of Clyde's Health issues, didn't know much about his wife. I really don't ever want to know about someones wife, but she's also on some network I'm on.

Wow! I always wondered what Clyde's stance on George Noory was. I must say, out of all the guys doing radio today, Clyde continues to impress me, and hold my attention the most.

Thanks for sharing that clip. The one reason I steer clear of listening to Clyde's show anymore though, and all radio really, is because it fosters paranoid thinking in those who aren't very mentally strong, and I've come to realise its just not very psychologically healthy all round.

In a nutshell, I feel better ever since I've limited my exposure to radio/media and the daily news cycle (actually, I don't seek out, read or consume any news whatsoever anymore). I think this goes a long way in cultivating a healthier way of relating to the world ... Keeping oneself grounded in reality, and fostering a more creative - rather than consumption based - existence.

Radio was one addiction that has been hardest to kick. Alcohol, pot, food and porn all pale in comparison to the hold radio has on its captive audience. I'll never forget the effect its had on me, as an art form, though.

Yeah its easy to get sucked in the whirlpool of negativity todays media has become and end up blackpilled. Look at what happened to Tracy Twyman. I usually steer clear of the political/conspiracy stuff and only listen to the lighter Ground Zeros like aliums, Krampus, Oates, Hoagland etc. Sure Im a coward but at least Im a (relatively) sane coward.

Yeah. I got fuckin' blackpilled, alright. Twyman's death was a tragedy ... I just knew she was edging closer and closer to what became of her. Call it a feeling if you will. There's a certain ring to the truth, that's unmistakable.
